The Elder Abuse Initiative

The Elder Abuse Initiative works to raise understanding and awareness of issues affecting the elderly members of our community. These may include exploitation and misuse of finances, abandonment and neglect of medical care. Central to the project is Elder Abuse Awareness week which occurs in June every year.
