Waitara Champions Campaign –

Taranaki Safe Families Trust has worked in collaboration with the national ‘It’s not OK’ campaign to create the Waitara Champions. The campaign is fronted by everyday people from different groups in the community who want to change how people think about and respond to family violence in Waitara. These passionate people are provided with training to become local faces that promote services and community ownership of family violence prevention.
